Chapter 237 Taking the top 3 places

Chapter 237 Taking the top 3 places

The hallway was now empty, the candles burning low, and the jack-o'-lanterns had a flickering, eerie smile because of it.

It doesn't feel like Halloween, but more like a gloomy festival.

Afro turned the first corner and saw two figures, one tall and one short.

"Ha!" She suddenly jumped behind the two of them and patted them on the back hard.

Successfully saw two frightened faces.

Afro covered her mouth and laughed, her mood improved because of the successful prank.

Cedric smiled and ruffled her hair, pinching her little face helplessly and lovingly.

Harry patted his chest to calm her frightened heart, then pretended to be aggrieved and put his arms around her.

"I never thought that one day we would become rivals." Afro held one of her boyfriends' hands and walked towards the auditorium.

Harry's mind was still in a mess. His initial thought was the same as Moody's. He thought it was a senior student playing a prank and threw his name into the Goblet of Fire.

The second selection made him even more confused. Was the Goblet of Fire tampered with?

Why did his and Afro's names still appear even though no one had submitted them?

Afro: Guess?

"I don't want to be a rival to little Afro." Cedric lowered his head and looked at the girl beside him. "If it's you, what does it matter if I give you the championship?"

His words rang in her ears, charming and beautiful, and made her heart tremble.

"No, we have to compete fairly." Afro shook their clasped hands, looking like "I am fair."

Cedric laughed hoarsely, "Have you ever thought about this kid, that we can work together to take the top three spots?"

"Sed, you are so bad."

Not even the second and third places were left for the other two schools.

Cedric pulled her along as if it was a matter of course and continued walking forward. Harry couldn't help but despise him for being such a bad guy and not being a gentleman at all.

They parted on the marble in front of the Great Hall foyer, and Harry and Avro walked hand in hand up the steps to the portrait of the Fat Lady.

The Fat Lady isn't the only ghost in tonight's portrait, there's also a pale witch.

"nonsense."

The Fat Lady and the Witch opened the door to the lounge with a look of pity on their faces.

The sudden noise almost made Afro fall on her back, but fortunately Fred and George hugged her around the waist.

They pinched her waist and lifted her up above their heads, "This is our Gryffindor champion!"

"The Goblet of Fire chose it!"

The Gryffindor students were cheering and screaming, and Lee Jordan was whistling and pulling out streamers from somewhere and throwing them out.

"You can get revenge, Harry, for the last Quidditch match." Angelina rushed over like a whirlwind, screaming loudly.

Harry felt very uncomfortable being pulled around by a group of people, and someone even pushed him on the sofa and stuffed food into his mouth.

"I'm not hungry—"

But no one listened to him, and everyone was still in a state of revelry. Lee Jordan draped a Gryffindor flag over them.

Ron was grinning for no apparent reason and had no intention of helping them at all.

"Okay! It's time for us to take a break!" Afro finally couldn't stand the crazy enthusiasm of this group of people anymore, she stood on the armrest of the sofa and shouted at the top of her voice.

To her relief, the group of people were very obedient and the noise disappeared in an instant.

The morning sun was warm on people's bodies. Afro pulled open the crimson curtain and met two pairs of sparkling eyes.

"Parvati? Brad?"

The two girls held up the breakfast wrapped in paper in their hands and asked her enthusiastically if she wanted any.

After Afro declined their breakfast invitation, the two enthusiastically helped her take her clothes. She didn't know why her classmate seemed to be possessed by something when she woke up.

Afro, exhausted, finally got rid of the enthusiastic classmates and went out, where she met Harry with the same expression.

They tacitly grabbed Hermione who had just returned from the front door and escaped from the common room together.

"It's terrible!" Afro and Harry patted their chests and celebrated their survival.

"You're celebrities now!" Hermione pulled sandwiches out of her pocket and handed them to them.

"Do you want this blessing?" Afro took a bite of bread angrily to vent his emotion of being disturbed.
