Chapter 178 Hagrid's Trial

Chapter 178 Hagrid's Trial

"What should we do now?" Harry, who had experienced time going back, was still confused. He looked at the two girls in confusion and subconsciously leaned closer to Aphrodite.

Hermione rolled her eyes after seeing his actions. She wouldn't sell him out, so what?

"I think Dumbledore means that Hagrid needs our help." Hermione tucked the Time-Turner back under her collar.

"What can we do? Smuggle him out?"

"Maybe we can start with that person." Afro rubbed his chin, and the man he met only once in front of Hagrid's hut appeared in front of his eyes.

"That person? Who is it?"

"You'll find out when you get there. We'd better hurry."

"Where are you going?" Harry staggered a little because of Aphrodite's sudden movement.

They followed the girl all the way to the castle gate, where a man who looked very old stood under a tree with his back to them.

It seems like he is waiting for someone.

"Mr. Newt." Afro walked forward to a few steps away from the man and read out the name she was thinking of.

When Hermione heard this person's name, her mouth opened in surprise. She actually saw a living textbook compiler!

"This is the author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," she explained to Harry in a low voice.

After hearing this, Harry looked at the other party in surprise. If Mr. Newt was willing to help, Hagrid would be fine.

Newt turned to look at her after hearing the voice, and a flash of emerald green disappeared in front of his jacket pocket.

"You're here." Newt didn't show much surprise when he saw Afro. It seemed that he knew someone would come to see him, so he had been waiting here.

"Sir, do you know we're back?"

"Maybe."

The older Newt is very different from when he was young, at least he is not as socially anxious.

After hearing their purpose, Newt smiled gently.

"Coincidentally, I'm here for this too." There seemed to be something in his shirt pocket, which kept moving. Newt tapped it twice through his clothes, and the movement stopped.

"I heard that a professor who loves magical creatures very much is going to be expelled from Hogwarts, so I came here specially."

When Afro heard that Newt had come here specifically for this matter, she breathed a sigh of relief and her body relaxed.

"Hagrid is the most serious and responsible professor, and he loves pixie animals and students very much, so I think..."

Newt interrupted her, "You want me to beg for mercy?"

"Yes, sir, are you sure?"

"I don't know either, but I think Hogwarts doesn't want to lose an innocent administrator." The gray-haired Newt winked at Aphrodite mischievously. He didn't look like a man who was nearly a hundred years old at all.

"Ah, here they come." He glanced at Fudge and Dumbledore who were walking towards the castle, then bent down slightly and continued in a low voice.

"I'm sure you'll succeed, but Buckbeak will have a better life."

Afro followed his gaze to the small suitcase at Newt's feet and smiled in tacit understanding.

Yeah, Newt's trunk is the best place for Fantastic Beasts.

"Hey, Pickett." Newt was about to say goodbye to the three little wizards when he found that his Bowtruckle grabbed a strand of golden hair and ran to the little girl's hair.

"Sorry," he apologized profusely, reaching out to pick up Pickett and putting him in his pocket.

Aphrodite waved her hands to indicate that everything was alright. Another young Niffler came out of the suitcase and went straight to Hermione's neck to take off the golden necklace.

Newt hurriedly pulled the troublesome Niffler away. His slightly embarrassed smile made the three little wizards completely relax and there was no longer any barrier between them.

Newt entered the castle with Dumbledore and Fudge. They should discuss something about Hagrid.

After everyone left, Harry and Hermione looked at Avro and asked about the next plan.

"Let's go to Hagrid's hut and wait for the results."

There was still some time before the trial, so the three of them walked slowly towards Hagrid's hut.

"Afro!" Nott and Noah suddenly appeared from nowhere and called out to the girl who was coming towards them.

"Don't you have classes?" Noah squinted and glanced around. When those blue eyes looked at a person solemnly, it was like a whirlpool that could make people addicted and sink into it.

"Um, I haven't asked you guys how you got together yet?"

Second and third grade classes are not taken together, right?

"Nott and I hit it off right away and had a friendly exchange. Why would you have any objections?" Noah hooked his arms around the bamboo-like boy, which didn't look friendly at all.

It sounds more like a threat.

Afro looked at Nott suspiciously, and the boy smiled and shook his head at her. Afro was more and more certain that Noah was bullying others.

"You guys have things to do first, we'll leave first."

Noah couldn't possibly explain to Afro that he chose to join forces with his rival in order to be with you, right?

I shouldn’t have teased her earlier, Noah pouted tiredly.

Now Afulo felt even more puzzled, but they had more important things to do right now, so they could only ask next time.

When they came along the marble corridor to the hillside, they happened to see them teaching Flint a lesson.

"I have to say, Hermione looked very handsome that time."

Hermione blushed and whispered embarrassedly, "No way."

They found a secret place near Hagrid's hut and hid there until Dumbledore led Fudge down another hillside.

"Why aren't we leaving yet?" Hermione anxiously watched Dumbledore and the other two getting closer and closer, while they in the room didn't notice at all.

Afro's eyes fell on the open stained glass window, and without thinking, she picked up a small stone and threw it.

"I finally know who broke the glass." Harry smiled and pressed her head down and rubbed it again.

Afro grabbed the hand that was making trouble on her head and squeezed it in dissatisfaction. Harry laughed and let the girl play with his fingers.

Hermione, who was squatting beside her, felt very bright.

After the past versions of themselves left Hagrid's hut through the back door, the present three walked to the window on the other side and listened to the voices inside.

"Rubeau Hagrid." Fudge read the contents of the parchment to Hagrid expressionlessly.

Hagrid nervously clenched the corner of his clothes and gently wiped the tears from the corners of his eyes. He already knew what the result would be.

"…Following the vote at the final hearing, the Ministry of Magic now announces the following decision on whether you can continue to serve as professor of Care of Magical Creatures at Hogwarts."

Hagrid turned back sadly, pulled out a huge animal skin and began to pack up.

"Hagrid? What are you doing?" Dumbledore looked at Hagrid's actions in confusion, while Fudge also half-raised the parchment with a puzzled look on his face.

He had never encountered a situation where someone did not listen to the results, so should he continue reading?

"Dumbledore, I know I have to leave, please allow me to pack my things."

Dumbledore and Fudge looked at each other and laughed helplessly.

"Hagrid, you should have listened to what Minister Fudge had to say."

"I don't need to hear it to know that you want me to leave."
