Chapter 935 Baijiu (Chinese liquor), Don't Do Something Foolish
Baijiu slowly turned his head and saw Kava pointing a gun at him, her other hand pointing at him intently, and shouting hoarsely: Baijiu! Don't do anything stupid!
Bai Jiu ignored him, staring intently at the blade that was millimeters away from Rum's throat. His knuckles were white from the force of his grip, and the blade gleamed coldly in the dim light.
"Put the knife down!" Kava's voice trembled with excitement as he steadily aimed the gun at Baijiu's forehead.
"Put down the knife, Baijiu!" Vodka's deep voice came from the other side. He was crouching down, slowly approaching. Although he also held a gun, there was clearly no murderous intent in his eyes; instead, there was a hint of persuasion.
"I fucking told you to put the knife down! Now!" Kava roared almost out of control, veins bulging on his forehead.
Rum's pupils dilated with fear, and his nostrils flared violently. Even though he had foreseen this scene, the chilling fear that gripped him as death drew near still sent shivers down his spine.
With a slight flick of his wrist, Baijiu moved the blade slowly away from Rum's stubble, finally pressing it against his heart. Baijiu gripped the hilt tightly, his gaze piercing as he stared intently at the man who had narrowly escaped his death.
Now, slowly stand up! Cava took another step closer, his voice hoarse.
Baijiu took a deep breath, forced himself to calm down, and slowly raised his hands.
"Stop talking the talk!" Cava roared hysterically, though the biting wind felt like a blade piercing his lungs. "Put that damn knife down right now!" His index finger was gripping the trigger, as if he were about to fire at any moment.
"I know." Baijiu's reply was tinged with obvious impatience.
Rum slowly stood up, raised his hands above his head, and expressionlessly surveyed his former colleagues. There was no nostalgia in his eyes, only contempt and mockery.
"Grab him quickly!" Baijiu said, staring intently at Kava.
Trust me. The kava showed no sign of lowering its gun. The liquor then turned to the vodka: "Grab him, don't let Rum get away!"
"Isn't he the person you're looking for?" Bai Jiu finally lost his temper and questioned through gritted teeth, completely unable to understand the logic of these two people.
Rum curled his lips into a mocking sneer, glancing at the countdown on his watch—only seven seconds left.
"Did I fucking say I wouldn't arrest Rum?!" Cava retorted, "The train's going this fast, are you two just going to jump off?"
Vodka! Cava gestured with a turn of his head.
"Understood." Vodka nodded in response.
Vodka! Baijiu could no longer contain himself, pointing at Rum and angrily shouting, "Are you fucking an idiot? Don't you even have the most basic judgment?"
Capturing Rum is more important than anything else! He's our real enemy! Baijiu tried his best to explain, each word seemingly squeezed out from between his teeth.
Shut your fucking mouth! Fuck your mother, Baijiu! Kava completely lost control, spitting a few drops of saliva onto Baijiu's face. "I know all that you're saying! I'm not stupid, of course I know rum is important!"
But! Kava emphasized deliberately, "Baijiu (Chinese liquor), you're more important to me! Because I have—"
Suddenly, Kava's expression changed drastically, and an incredulous look of horror flashed in his eyes.
Rum gracefully leaned back, as if accepting a victor's cheers, and calmly fell out of the car. His posture didn't seem like suicide; rather, it was like welcoming a new world.
Almost at the same moment Rum leaned back, Baijiu reached out and grabbed him, but Rum seemed to have calculated every angle and distance beforehand, stopping just outside the limit that Baijiu could reach, missing him by a hair's breadth.
Under the desperate gaze of the liquor, Rum landed safely in the cargo bed of a truck that happened to be coming, settling smoothly on the soft lining.
He looked up and gave the train a mocking sneer.
Vodka and kava stood frozen in place, looking at each other in bewilderment.
Who could have imagined that a truck would happen to pass by, and who could have predicted that Rum would so resolutely jump off the speeding train?
Soon, Rum completely disappeared from everyone's sight.
The crisis did not disappear; rather, it began to ignite completely.
Baijiu's eyes swept across the entire room in an instant. His center of gravity suddenly dropped, and without the slightest hesitation, he pounced on Kava, which was closer to him and posed a greater threat, like a cheetah!
It was precisely because the kava was obsessed with killing him that Rum was able to escape.
Before Kava could even fully raise his gun, Baijiu's fist came straight for his jaw like a cannonball!
This punch was fast and fierce, accompanied by a shrill whistling sound that tore through the air.
boom!
A heavy thud sounded.
Kava jerked his head back sharply, his vision went black for a moment, and he staggered backward.
But this is just the beginning.
Baijiu gave his opponent no chance to breathe. Almost at the same time the fist hit, his body pressed against the opponent, and his left elbow, like an iron hammer, struck Kavajiu's wrist holding the gun precisely from bottom to top!
Crack! A crisp sound rang out, the sound of bones dislocating.
"Ugh!" Kava groaned in pain, his fingers went numb, and the pistol flew out of his hand, landing with a thud on the bumpy floor and sliding under the seat.
Just then, another warning sounded from the connecting area between the carriages—another low obstacle was hurtling toward the roof!
"Vodka! Get down!" Baijiu shouted sharply, while he himself did not choose to dodge alone.
He suddenly reached out and grabbed Kava, who was dizzy and unable to react in time due to his jaw injury, and used his strength to forcefully push him down onto the roof of the car!
The two men pressed their bodies against the cold, slippery roof of the car, as a huge obstacle, carrying the scent of death, barely brushed past their backs!
Vodka reacted quickly, having already ducked at the sound and avoided the danger.
Once the obstacle was cleared, the liquor immediately flipped over and stood up, its movements incredibly fluid.
He pressed one knee down on the still semi-dazed Kava, completely subduing him. His cold gaze swept over Kava, then warily glanced at Vodka, who had just gotten up.
But he made no further move. He didn't snap Kava's neck, nor did he deliver any further blows. He simply restrained him, depriving him of his fighting ability.
He stopped drinking the cava, then looked up, his gaze fixed intently on the vodka.
"Don't get excited, Vodka," Baijiu said calmly. "Listen to me, don't get agitated. I'm in charge of the whole situation now."
Kava stood up, still shaken, but his legs wouldn't straighten, because he had just escaped death.
If it weren't for the forced downing by the baijiu, the kava might have already fallen apart.
"Listen to me," Baijiu said in a low voice.
