Chapter 602 The Three Silent People
Chapter 602 The Three Silent People
Chapter 602 The Three Silent Ones
Dumbledore brought the group back to Shiron in a simple way: he turned a fragment of a statue into a key, just the right size for them to hold down at the same time.
Although Fudge was a little unhappy, thinking that Dumbledore's unauthorized creation of the Portkey was "outrageous," Dumbledore simply gave Fudge a calm look and then fell silent.
Moreover, no one spoke up for him during this time, including people from the Ministry of Magic.
Amidst a flurry of pulling and spinning colors, Siron and his companions returned to Hogwarts, to Dumbledore's office.
Xilun looked around. The exquisite silverware on the table spun as always, occasionally emitting some smoke, while the portraits of past principals hung on the wall, snoring away.
However, Siren suspected they were all pretending to be asleep. He stared at the portrait of Phineas Black, and after a few seconds, the man silently turned over and turned his face to the other side of the frame.
Okay, so he was just pretending to be asleep.
Just then, the principal's office door was suddenly pushed open with a bang.
"I heard from the portrait that someone has returned." Professor Flitwick came running in from outside, leaping and bounding—literally leaping and bounding, because he had to jump to reach the doorknob.
He looked like he was about to cry when he realized that the people who had returned were all students.
He never imagined that when he went back to his office to get something, he would find seven students missing when he came out.
Moreover, all the clues he found indicated that these missing students had gone to the Ministry of Magic, specifically the Ministry of Magic where Voldemort was located.
Flitwick was completely distraught, torn between finding someone and staying at Hogwarts, wishing he could create a living Horcrux on the spot.
Thankfully, they all came back, and not one of them was missing.
"Oh, Merlin, can anyone tell me what happened?" Professor Flitwick asked urgently.
The group of people from Xilun all turned their gazes toward Cedric.
As the president of the male student council, Cedric was perfectly suited to reporting to the professor, and he naturally walked over to Professor Flitwick's side.
"I'm sorry, Professor, we got to the Ministry of Magic through the fireplace in Professor McGonagall's office—"
Professor Flitwick listened intently, and Hillen and the others took the opportunity to leave the principal's office.
It was already quite late, and although it wasn't curfew yet, there was hardly any sound coming from inside the castle.
The group arrived in front of the portrait of the plump lady, and could vaguely hear a commotion coming from behind.
"What was the password again?" Xilun asked.
"I remember it was excellent," Fred said.
"I wish you all the best in obtaining your certificates," the plump lady said with a smile, opening the portrait to reveal the passage behind it.
"I also hope that I can get a 0 (excellent) on all my certificates," Fred said with a smile.
"But that's probably difficult."
When the portrait of the fat lady was fully opened, the noise behind them grew louder. The students who had just finished their exams were unwilling to go to sleep so early, and the common room was packed with people.
"Hey, Celen, where have you been?" Seamo waved and asked. "Professor Flitwick has been looking for you several times."
"The library," Celen said casually.
"Going to the library after exams?" Seamus was clearly taken aback. "I always thought only Hermione would do that."
Hermione walked in at that moment, and the two exchanged a glance.
"What I mean is—well, you work very hard, really," Seamus explained dryly. "Everyone knows that you've always had the best grades in the whole grade."
"Thank you for the compliment," Hermione said, turning and walking towards the girls' dormitory.
"Did I say anything really offensive?" Simo scratched his head and asked uncertainly.
"Probably not," Xilun thought for a moment.
Simo did make a bit of a joke, but it wasn't excessive.
"So why is she angry?"
"I roughly know what's going on," Fred said, raising his eyebrows slightly.
"Trust me, it definitely has nothing to do with you." George patted Seamus on the shoulder. "Want to see what new products Weasley's Magic Tricks are making? I have a list here."
"Of course, I'm looking forward to it." Simo's attention was quickly drawn to a brightly colored GG paper.
Fred and Celen walked to a place where there were fewer people.
"What did you say happened to Hermione?" Siron asked curiously.
"Before this, did you notice that Harry and Ron were acting strangely?" Fred said.
"If I had to say something, there is one thing," Celen said. "They seem too quiet."
39
Neither Harry nor Ron are quiet people, otherwise they wouldn't have traveled all the way to the Ministry of Magic based solely on a dream that was hard to tell if it was real or not.
But from the Department of Mysteries to the Headmaster's office at Hogwarts, and back to the common room, Harry and Ron didn't exchange a single word.
This is neither Harry nor Ron.
"That's because they deducted five hundred points from Gryffindor," Fred said gleefully.
"How could that be?" Xilun shook his head immediately. "We clearly came back ahead of time—"
He suddenly stopped halfway through his sentence.
"Looks like you figured it out," Fred said. "Yes, we did come back early, but they didn't."
"Harry was a bit slow and missed our elevator."
"So they took another one."
"Then we went straight to the main hall."
"Professor McGonagall caught him red-handed."
Xilun rubbed his forehead, somewhat speechless.
No wonder they were so quiet the whole way. Gryffindor lost 500 points directly. Even Fred and George, who don't care about points the most, probably wouldn't want to say anything.
After getting the answer, Siron turned around and saw that Harry and Ron had also stopped staying in the common room and were preparing to go upstairs back to their dormitories.
The two figures were stretched long on the stairs.
Professor McGonagall always keeps her word and never jokes.
Since she said she would deduct 500 points, she would definitely keep her promise. The points haven't decreased yet; it's just that Professor McGonagall hasn't returned yet.
If all goes well, the Gryffindors should find their scoring hourglasses empty by tomorrow morning.
I wonder what excuse Professor McGonagall will use, or if she will tell the truth.
"But that's not bad either," Fred chuckled. "When we graduate, having Gryffindor get an unprecedented zero is a unique way to celebrate, isn't it?"
"But not necessarily." George glanced thoughtfully at Celen and asked, "Do you think Dumbledore will give you an edge this year?"
"I don't know." Xilun thought for a moment, "Probably."
"I hope not," Fred said. "Come to think of it, we've won the Academy Cup four times in a row."
"Zero points is definitely more special."
