Chapter 10 How to Kill Gwen
Chapter 10 How to Kill Gwen
On the other side, at Kurt Connors Laboratory.
Peter changed into a white protective suit and entered the disinfection and sterilization room.
As the white disinfectant was sprayed, Peter walked into the laboratory and immediately saw Kurt Connors waiting at the door.
He took a deep breath and said, "You were looking for me."
"Peter, you've finally arrived."
With a benevolent smile, Kurt Connors instructed his assistant to leave the laboratory.
Only he and Peter remained at the scene.
Peter's expression turned grim as his assistant walked away.
"I told you, I'll consider it. You don't need anyone else to remind me." He subconsciously clenched his fist.
Just a month ago, Kurt Connors was one of the scientists he respected most.
But then, he discovered the guy's true colors.
To achieve one's goals, one must stop at nothing.
It turned into a complete monster.
This guy is no longer the scientist I respect.
Professor Kurt also knew that Peter now hated him.
But he had no choice and didn't care anymore.
He raised his empty left sleeve and looked at Peter's severed hand.
"Peter, the time has come. I need to know your answer now."
"There's still one day left!" Peter said, barely suppressing his anger.
Kurt Connors did not answer, but smiled and looked out the window at the park lake.
The lake surface shimmered under the perfect sunlight.
Everything was so beautiful.
He slowly began to speak: "Peter, you know, I set the rules."
I'm not in a good mood right now, but since your brother is here, it will be easier for me to do certain things.
For example...
Kurt's gaze fell on Peter, and his smile gradually turned manic.
"For example, killing your brother here."
"Can't!"
Peter exclaimed, "If you do that, I will never agree to it!"
"I don't care. You still have Ben Parker and May. You have plenty of people you can use to threaten you."
"asshole!"
"That's me."
Peter lost control, and Professor Kurt seemed to have achieved his goal, looking at him with a mocking expression.
"Give me an answer now, or I'll give you Mark's corpse."
"No, you win, I agree."
Left with no other choice, Peter finally made a decision in an instant.
He could no longer delay.
We can only take it one step at a time.
His eyes hardened. "But I don't know much about biology, so I might not be able to help you overcome the shortcomings of regenerative medicine technology."
This is the truth.
Professor Kurt shook his head. "No, Peter, you can do it."
He turned around and opened his computer. The complex gene chains overlapped countless times, eventually constructing a new set of genetic codes.
"When your father Richard was still alive, he and I started researching this thing."
"Now, Peter, only you can help me."
Kurt Connors' eyes held a pleading look, completely devoid of any threat.
"But I can't understand it at all." Peter stared at the computer screen, his brow furrowed.
Professor Kurt, however, did not require the other party to be able to understand it.
He said, "Your father must have left behind something crucial when he was alive. I need you to go back to your home and help me find it."
"My home?"
Peter breathed a sigh of relief. "The house was foreclosed on by the bank after my father died."
"It's alright, I've already bought it," Professor Kurt said with a smile.
Peter: "????"
No wonder he keeps complaining about insufficient funding for his experiments, since he's spending money to buy a house.
"Then you can go find it yourself," he said.
Kurt shook his head. "I can't find it. He must have hidden it in a secret place."
"My father never told me about this."
"Impossible. Richard is always meticulous. He would definitely make a backup of something so important."
"But......."
"No buts!"
Seeing that Peter kept refusing, Professor Kurt became increasingly agitated.
He had no patience to listen to Peter's nonsense.
As his emotions fluctuated, green lizard scales inexplicably appeared on one side of his cheek, making him look ferocious.
"You have to do as I say!" he slammed his fist on the computer keyboard.
Peter was startled by the scene and instinctively took a step back, his face turning pale.
The commotion here also attracted the attention of those outside.
"Professor Kurt, what happened inside?"
Gwen's voice appeared, and Professor Kurt immediately roared in anger.
"Don't come any closer!"
"Gwen, don't go over there..."
"No, something must have happened inside. The professor and Peter are still inside..."
Ignoring her assistant's attempts to stop her, Gwen rushed into the laboratory.
Professor Kurt had no time to react.
Gwen noticed the unusual look on Professor Kurt's face, and her worry instantly turned into astonishment.
She pointed at Professor Kurt in disbelief.
"Professor, you........"
"Damn it, we've been discovered."
Professor Kurt's face turned grim, and then he exhaled, his expression becoming ferocious.
"Peter, I'm sorry, but I won't allow anyone else to discover my secret except you."
Upon hearing this, Peter instantly understood what the other person wanted to do.
"Gwen, run!!"
As he shouted, he lunged at Kurt Connors.
"Don't do this!!"
"boom!!"
The next moment, the laboratory trembled violently, and as Professor Kurt's muscles rapidly expanded, gleaming green scales appeared on his body.
In an instant, Professor Kurt transformed into a green lizard man, raised his hand, and grabbed the charging Peter Parker.
"This is none of your business, unless you can afford the consequences of angering me!!"
Professor Kurt glared at Peter fiercely, then casually tossed him aside and rushed toward Gwen.
"Gwen, you only have yourself to blame for seeing things you shouldn't have."
The aftereffects of the regeneration agent gradually replaced Professor Kurt's consciousness with his animalistic instincts.
He grinned maliciously and pounced on Gwen, his long tail sweeping over her as he broke through the wall and headed straight for the rooftop.
If he could, he wouldn't want to kill this outstanding student with his own hands.
So he decided to find a different way to kill her.
-
at the same time.
"A generous gift, thank you!"
The chubby boy, who was about to enjoy his lunch on the lush green grass, suddenly cursed loudly. He covered his head and instinctively turned around.
The red and blue guy was holding a single hair of his head and cheering excitedly.
"Wisdom Flower, I'm going to plant you hard!"
"Wardfa?"
Ned Lids was taken aback at first, then his expression changed.
"Oh no, it's an unknown malevolent entity!"
He was a loyal reader of the Daily Bugle, so he knew very well just how evil the unknown evil Mr. Jonah spoke of was.
This guy just stole a dollar from an ordinary citizen yesterday.
Now they've played a prank and pulled out his hair.
Absolutely unforgivable!
"Hey, you jerk, that's incredibly rude!"
He stood up, put his hands on his hips, and started cursing.
Mark, on the other hand, discovered the ordinary beast that guarded the Wisdom Flower.
"Hey, it's a porcupine."
He casually pressed down on the enraged porcupine, letting it roar furiously in front of his palm.
"You bastard, let go of my hand!!"
Ned Liz, whose face was pinned down by Mark's hand, roared and waved his arms, but his short arms could not break free from the suppression of the unknown evil.
As Ned continued his tirade, more and more classmates gathered around.
"Oh my god! Look, it's the unknown evil Spider-Man!"
"That's him. I saw the news. He abandoned his bed sheets and broom and put on a new battle suit, this one."
"Stop! Damn, unknown evil thing..."
The people around him condemned him, but Mark ignored the growing number of ordinary porcupines around him.
He carefully put away the seeds of the wisdom flower and pondered them in his heart.
With so many ferocious beasts appearing around, it seems the cabin needs to be reinforced.
"boom!!"
Suddenly, an explosion occurred in the distant forest, and a notification message appeared again.
[Bruce has discovered traces of a demon. Please proceed to his aid immediately!]
