Chapter 159 Bulma Escapes
Chapter 159 Bulma Escapes
Hearing the conversation between the two soldiers from Frieza's army, Bulma's eyes lit up, and she had an idea. She whispered, "Don't you know what the Dragon Balls are for? They can actually grant any wish. If you go find the Dragon Balls yourselves and make a wish, you might become even stronger than Frieza."
Soldier A stopped in his tracks, about to grab Bulma, seemingly moved by her words, and froze in place. Seeing Soldier A's lack of reaction, Soldier B quickly urged him to act. But Soldier A remained staring intently at Bulma.
Seeing this, Bulma knew there was hope and continued to persuade them: "Alright, you guys hurry up and go find the remaining Dragon Balls and wish to become the ruler of the universe."
Soldier A turned to Soldier B and said, "I think we shouldn't go see King Frieza yet. If we can find the rest of the Dragon Balls and give them to him, he'll be happy and might even reward us handsomely."
Soldier B thought this made sense and demanded that Bulma hand over the remaining Dragon Balls. Bulma panicked and said, "I don't know."
Soldier A raised his energy gun, aimed it at Bulma, and said menacingly, "Still being stubborn? Looks like I'll have to teach you a lesson."
Bulma screamed in terror, "In...in the sea, they're all in the sea!"
So the two soldiers took Bulma back to the crevice in the mountain they had been visiting.
Bulma said helplessly, "It's in that sea, go and find it."
Soldier A ordered, "Take us with you."
Bulma complained incessantly, "I can't breathe in the water!"
No sooner had she finished speaking than she noticed the two soldiers' gazes falling on the robotic armor beside them. Bulma had no choice but to don the robotic armor and rejoin them in the sea.
They wandered aimlessly in the sea. Bulma was panicking: "I have no idea where the Dragon Balls are. If they find out I lied to them, they'll definitely kill me. What should I do?"
At this moment, Soldier A, seeing that Bulma was standing still, impatiently pushed her robot.
Bulma stumbled, almost losing her balance as a robot. She quickly regained her footing and shouted at Soldier A, "Don't push me! I'm walking!"
Bulma, steeling herself, led two soldiers to the massive whirlpool at the bottom of the sea. A plan formed in her mind, and she turned to the two men, saying, "Hurry up and go in, the Dragon Balls are in there." But before she could finish speaking, the two soldiers didn't give her a chance to explain further. They grabbed Bulma's robot hands, one on each side, and jumped into the whirlpool without a word.
Bulma cried out in alarm, "Wait, wait!" However, it was all in vain, and the three of them were soon swept into the depths of the vortex.
Upon entering the whirlpool, the immense pressure of the seawater caused Bulma's robot to sway slightly. After regaining their balance, the two soldiers glared angrily at Bulma.
Bulma trembled with fear and quickly pointed to a cave in the distance, saying, "Don't kill me, the Dragon Balls are over there!"
That was the cave where the giant crab had been.
The three of them cautiously made their way towards the cave. As Bulma walked, she muttered to herself, "Honestly, what a crappy robot this is. Besides providing light, it doesn't even have any weapons. It's completely useless in a pinch."
The three entered the cave, which was extremely dark, with only the two faint lights on Bulma's robot providing some illumination.
The crab eggs in the cave were remarkably similar in size to Dragon Balls, and under the light, they reflected a faint glow, truly resembling Dragon Balls from a distance.
Upon seeing this, Bulma quickly exclaimed, "Look! It's right there!"
Upon hearing this, the two soldiers quickly walked over and reached out to pick up the "dragon balls." However, the crab eggs were firmly attached to the large crabs, and they couldn't remove a single one despite their great effort.
In his haste, Soldier B put down the dragon ball he had grabbed and tried to pull the crab eggs with both hands.
Bulma spotted the Dragon Ball on the ground and was secretly delighted: "What a great opportunity!" Without saying a word, she ran over, picked up the Dragon Ball, and ran outside.
After running a distance, Bulma quickly fired a flare, and the intense light instantly illuminated the entire cave as if it were daytime.
At the same time, the large crab was also awakened by the sudden bright light and noise.
The giant crab was enraged when it saw someone daring to steal its eggs. It brandished its large pincers and charged menacingly at the three of them.
Bulma didn't look back and ran desperately towards the cave exit, silently chanting in her heart, "Mrs. Crab, it's up to you to hold them off!"
When Soldier A saw Bulma running away with the Dragon Ball, he became enraged and fired a laser cannon at her.
Bulma reacted with lightning speed, dodging to the side as the laser cannon grazed past her and slammed heavily into the cave wall. In an instant, the cave shook violently, rocks rained down, and the entire cave began to collapse.
Bulma was extremely anxious and rushed towards the vortex with all her might, determined to escape it and live.
At that moment, rocks collapsing from the cave continued to pour into the whirlpool, threatening to seal its eye instantly. Bulma exerted all her strength, pushing the robot to its limits. Just as the whirlpool was about to be sealed off, she shot out like an arrow, breaking through the water and successfully jumping back to the shore.
Bulma quickly removed her robot armor, collapsed to the ground, panting heavily, secretly relieved to have escaped death. But before she could recover, she glanced back and was surprised to find two soldiers also emerging from the water.
Bulma was both shocked and furious, and couldn't help but yell, "How are you still alive! You two bastards!"
Before the words were even finished, two enormous crab claws burst out of the water, swiftly clamping down on the two soldiers from the left and right, and then pulling them back to the seabed in an instant.
As the sea calmed down, Bulma's tense nerves finally relaxed, and she knelt down on the ground, letting out a long sigh of relief.
However, the immense pressure of surviving a near-death experience caused Bulma to break down. She suddenly stood up, roared, and forcefully flung the Dragon Ball behind her, screaming, "I've had enough! Why are you doing this to me?!"
After the Dragon Ball hit the mountain wall, it bounced back and started rolling towards the sea again.
Hearing the sound of the Dragon Balls rolling, Bulma snapped out of her daze, turned her head, and her face instantly turned pale. She exclaimed in shock, "No!!"
Bulma rushed forward without hesitation, catching the Dragon Ball just as it was about to roll back into the sea. After confirming its safety, Bulma breathed a sigh of relief and murmured, "Shangyun, please come back soon."
