Tang Sanzang may seem carefree, but he actually cares about the world and is determined to promote Buddhism.

After all, Tang Sanzang's words sounded quite sincere.

However, everyone vaguely felt that something was amiss.

……

The world of Journey to the West, the Western Paradise.

The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas were filled with righteous indignation, pointing at Tang Sanzang in the sky and cursing him as a "lewd monk".

Upon seeing that Tang Sanzang and his party had arrived at Mount Ling, Guanyin Bodhisattva was even more furious and said, "At Mount Ling, we will definitely teach this lewd monk a lesson!"

The words had barely left her lips when Guanyin Bodhisattva heard Tang Sanzang's reply, and the angry words caught in her throat...

The other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas were also stunned, and the Leiyin Temple, which had been filled with angry curses, fell silent for a moment.

After a long silence, Buddha broke the silence and said, "This Tang Sanzang actually has such a grand vision?"

“Buddha, this Tang Sanzang is full of wild and unfounded ramblings and has repeatedly acted disrespectfully towards Buddhism. His words may not be credible.”

Guanyin became somewhat anxious upon hearing Tathagata's words.

The fact that Tang Sanzang had taken liberties with her was witnessed by everyone in the world, including gods, immortals, Buddhas, demons, and monsters. If she let him off easily, where would Guanyin Bodhisattva's face be?

Upon hearing this, Buddha hesitated. Guanyin's words were not without reason, but...

"The westward transmission of Buddhist scriptures is related to whether our Buddhist sect can flourish. If Tang Sanzang has this intention, he can help our Buddhist sect flourish."

"This matter is of utmost importance and cannot be overlooked. Guanyin, I'm afraid I'll have to trouble you this time."

After thinking for a moment, Buddha added, "This Tang Sanzang is not the same as that Tang Sanzang."

The story told in the sky was about the notorious bandit Tang Sanzang, but the one who came to the Western Paradise to obtain Buddhist scriptures was actually the virtuous monk Tang Sanzang from the Great Tang Dynasty in the East.

Thinking of this, Buddha breathed a sigh of relief.

Even if Tang Sanzang had the intention of spreading Buddhist scriptures from the west to the east and revitalizing Buddhism, his words and actions were too outrageous.

Fortunately, the person they have here is Tang Sanzang, not Tang Sanzang.

Guanyin said softly, "Buddha, the Tang Sanzang in the sky was originally Tang Sanzang."

Who knows when their Tang Sanzang won't turn into Tang Sanzang?

Buddha: "..."

……

The sequel to Journey to the West.

"Amitabha."

Tang Sanzang sat cross-legged on the ground, holding a string of Buddhist beads in his hand, and helplessly recited a Buddhist mantra while gazing at the sky.

"This Tang Sanzang is wholeheartedly dedicated to spreading Buddhism, so it seems he is not a demon under Wutian's command."

Tang Sanzang felt a little relieved, but his face was still full of worry.

He had been trapped in the underworld for some time, and if he didn't get out soon, who knew what kind of mess that demon Wutian would make of the outside world.

And there's Wukong and his friends.

"Sigh!" Tang Sanzang sighed. He hoped they wouldn't actually be lured by those demons into becoming something like Sun Xingzhe, Zhu Bajie, or someone who would kill without mercy.

Even if Tang Sanzang wasn't a demon in disguise and was wholeheartedly dedicated to spreading Buddhism, he was still, as Tianmu said, a ruthless bandit.

Journey to the West: A World in Action

The Merciless Guanyin strode into Mount Ling, looked up at the sky, her brow twitched slightly, and she murmured:

"Tang Sanzang may lack class, but he's still better than Di Shitian."

As he spoke, he had already walked up to Buddha, and Buddha naturally heard his words.

The Buddha sighed softly, gazing at the sky in a slightly daze, his thoughts seemingly drawn back to the past.

"I remember that after Tang Sanzang obtained the scriptures, he eventually went into seclusion."

"He felt he had made the wrong choice back then, and therefore felt guilty and went into seclusion in Chang'an."

1.2 Guanyin of the Killing Heart picked up where Tathagata left off, and also recalled the past.

It is said that when the White Wolf went to ask Tang Sanzang to return the scriptures, Tang Sanzang refused and kicked the White Wolf out.

But in the end, he couldn't bear it and agreed to the white wolf's request, embarking once again on the journey to retrieve the scriptures.

However, the Tang Sanzang and Tang Sanzang in this sky-view still gave him some different feelings.

Guanyin of the Killing Heart glared at Tang Sanzang in the sky, her gaze icy cold.

Both of them are very skilled fighters and seem to have the same heart to promote Buddhism, but this Tang Sanzang is much more of a scoundrel.

……

The Monkey King World.

The Monkey King knocked Li Tianwang back with a single blow, baring his teeth at him. He ignored the heavenly soldiers and generals around him and focused solely on attacking Li Tianwang!

"Look at Tang Sanzang. Although he acts arrogantly and is just a mortal, he is much better than this god!"

"You call yourself a god, or some kind of Heavenly King Li, but in the end you're not even as good as a mortal!"

The thought that Li Tianwang was going to target Flower Fruit Mountain and take the lives of those innocent monkeys filled the Monkey King with rage!

Although Tang Sanzang's harassment and coercion of Guanyin was unethical, it was not as vicious as Li Tianwang's!

Thinking of this, the Monkey King became more and more enthusiastic in his cursing, using the story of Tang Sanzang to denigrate Li Tianwang to the extreme.

Li Tianwang looked at Tang Sanzang in the sky and his face turned red and blue with anger.

"Sun Wukong! How dare you compare me to this lewd monk!?"

"And you say I'm inferior to this lecherous monk?!"

Li Tianwang doesn't believe such nonsense about wholeheartedly spreading the scriptures from the West to the East and only wanting to save all people in the world!

Didn't they also use a bunch of lies to trick Sun Wukong into coming to Heaven to be the Keeper of the Heavenly Horses?

[109] Zhu Bajie: Now that my master is in power, Buddha, come and pay homage to him! Tang Sanzang: You unfilial disciple!

[After Tang Sanzang retrieves the scriptures, please watch the video!]

[Buddha: "Sanzang, you've returned. Did you obtain the scriptures?"]

[Tang Sanzang: "As for the scriptures, how many did we get?"]

[The Buddha was puzzled: "Why did I only receive a few books?"]

[Tang Sanzang: "It's probably because I just burned down the Sutra Repository."]

[Buddha was shocked: "What did you say?"]

[Tang Sanzang: "I said I burned down the Sutra Repository."]

[Buddha: "Three Burials, are you kidding me?"]

[Tang Sanzang: "You still don't believe me?" After saying that, Tang Sanzang threw out two half-burnt scriptures.]

[Buddha roared: "You, Tang Sanzang! I sent you to the Western Paradise to retrieve the scriptures, which was a great comfort to you, and you actually destroyed my scripture pavilion! What is your purpose?"]

[Tang Sanzang pointed to the burnt and tattered scriptures on the ground.]

[Buddha: "What do you mean?"]

[Tang Sanzang: "Pick up the scriptures! Pick up the scriptures!"]

……

People from all the heavens and myriad realms looked up at the sky, speechless for a moment.

After a long pause, someone finally murmured, "We really misjudged them."

They thought Tang Sanzang was a madman and lewd monk who dared to harass and force Guanyin. But then Tang Sanzang declared that his journey to the West was only for the purpose of spreading the scriptures eastward, and that he could even resist the temptation of becoming a Buddha.

They then thought they had misjudged him; although Tang Sanzang was a bit lecherous and arrogant, he was wholeheartedly devoted to Buddhism.

Unexpectedly, they were wrong in the end. Tang Sanzang was a daring and reckless bandit!

"He actually dared to burn down the library and even ordered the Buddha around, telling the Buddha to pick up the scriptures."

"Tianmu is right, this Tang Sanzang is indeed a ruthless bandit, what audacity!"

"But isn't Tang Sanzang afraid that Buddha will destroy him, or imprison him under the mountain for five hundred years like he did with Sun Wukong?"

"He dares to order Buddha around, so why is he afraid of this?"

The celestial beings, who were still chattering about Tang Sanzang daring to provoke Tathagata in Chapter 22, all fell silent upon hearing this.

That's true. Tang Sanzang even dared to ask Buddha to abdicate before his journey to the West.

Shouting at the Buddha to pick up the scriptures doesn't seem like such a big deal... what a load of rubbish!

You probably couldn't find anyone as arrogant as him in all the heavens and myriad realms!
