Chapter 116 Treatment
Chapter 116 Treatment
As the train slowly came to a stop at the station, Daphne gently woke Thea, and then the group got off the train together.
Hagrid's enormous size and distinctive voice were like a lighthouse in the night, guiding the young wizards in the right direction.
Thea and her companions followed the muddy path to the other side where many carriages were parked.
Draco, fully displaying his discerning nature, selected the cleanest and most comfortable carriage, though Thea saw no difference between it and the others.
He boarded the carriage first, then gestured for Thea to give him her hand so he could pull her up.
Thea didn't hesitate, since she didn't have much strength right now, and handed her hand to the other person.
As Thea boarded the carriage, Daphne, under the pretext of taking care of Thea, boarded the same carriage.
Theodore was somewhat disappointed, and in the end, he got into a carriage with Zabini and Pansy.
Harry's carriage was not far from Draco's group, so Harry could clearly see Thea being pulled onto the carriage by Draco.
This puzzled Harry. "Is Thea sick? She doesn't look well."
Hermione was clearly worried about Thea, her brow furrowed, but she still explained, "It seems Thea also encountered Dementors just now; Draco and the others didn't look too good..."
From the moment the carriage started moving, Draco and Daphne watched Thea with considerable tension, fearing that Thea might suddenly shatter like a vase.
Thea wanted to comfort the two of them, but an inexplicable fatigue swept over her, leaving her with no desire to even speak.
The carriage moved forward rhythmically, and Thea's eyelids grew heavier and heavier. Her head bobbed uncontrollably until she finally leaned against Draco's shoulder.
Draco had never been so close to Thea, so close that he could almost smell the faint fragrance in her hair, which made him freeze.
Daphne looked at Draco's expression, which seemed to be carrying a bomb on his shoulder, with amusement, wishing she could take out her camera and capture the scene on the spot.
The carriage finally arrived at its destination, swaying and rocking. Daphne jumped off first and stood with Theodore at the foot of the carriage, ready to help Thea down.
Thea was woken up by Draco and, still dazed, was helped off the carriage by Theodore and Daphne.
"Thank you."
Thea thanked them, her face pale, "But I'm just a little sleepy, nothing serious."
"Oh."
The faces of the group were filled with disbelief.
"Thea! How are you?"
Hermione's anxious voice rang out from afar.
Thea turned around and gave the other person a weak but gentle smile, indicating that she was alright.
Hermione was startled by Thea's pale face and immediately prepared to go find Madam Pomfrey.
"Alright, Granger, Thea needs to go inside now; it's too windy here."
Draco frowned and stopped Hermione.
Hermione was about to retort, but then she dismissed the idea because of Thea's expression.
"Porter! Black! Granger! All three of you come here."
As soon as they stepped into the castle, they were stopped by Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape, who were waiting at the door.
When the two professors saw Thea's pale face, their brows furrowed.
Professor McGonagall stepped forward with concern, gently but firmly supporting Thea's unsteady steps, and then the group walked toward the room next to the hall.
The group entered the room, and Professor McGonagall waved her wand with one hand. Instantly, a roaring fire broke out in the fireplace, and the room quickly became warm.
Professor McGonagall gestured for the three students to sit down, while Snape stood aside, staring intently at Thea.
McGonagall spoke first: "I heard you encountered some unfriendly things on the train, so I asked Mrs. Pomfrey to come over."
Just then, Mrs. Pomfrey rushed in: "Good heavens! Child, you look terrible!"
"I'm sorry to bother you, I've encountered a Dementor..."
Thea said weakly. Hermione, sitting next to her, quickly supported the swaying Thea, afraid that she would fall off the chair.
"I told you, those monsters shouldn't have entered Hogwarts!" Madam Pomfrey muttered to herself, while skillfully and gently pouring several bottles of potions into Thea's mouth.
Hermione and Harry stared in disbelief at Thea's empty potion bottle. Even though they were terrible at potions, they could tell that the amount she used was far from what a "normal" young wizard would use.
Lady Pomfrey caught a glimpse of their surprised expressions and explained simply, "Miss Black has a special constitution; normal doses of potions don't have much effect on her."
"Oh……"
Hermione and Harry nodded, looking somewhat bewildered.
Having witnessed Thea's dosage, Harry also readily downed a bottle of potion.
Thea's spirits recovered somewhat after drinking the potion. She closed her eyes, sensing the strangeness in her body, and politely said, "Madam Pomfrey, I may need a few more bottles of Joyful Potion. The Dementors' effects on me... are quite significant."
"Oh, poor child!" Mrs. Pomfrey exclaimed with heartache, deftly pulling several bottles of potion from her pocket and handing them to Thea.
Thea didn't hesitate; she simply unscrewed the cap and poured it into her mouth.
"How about it?"
Mrs. Pomfrey asked cautiously, ready to take emergency measures for Thea at any time.
"...Fortunately, a fleeting sense of happiness surfaced in my mind, but I could still feel that this happiness was too vague..."
Thea squinted, a slightly unnatural flush rising on her face.
Overall, it's not bad!
Thea opened her eyes, which were clear and bright.
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, but Mrs. Pomfrey's face was full of disapproval. "Miss Black," she said, "as a doctor, I must remind you to take care of yourself. A balance between work and rest is the healthiest lifestyle."
Thea accepted Mrs. Pomfrey's kindness without reservation, saying, "Thank you, Madam, I will be careful."
Pomfrey could tell from the other person's expression that he didn't take it to heart at all, and bluntly said, "From now on, you must come to the medical wing to see me once a week!"
Then he turned around and left.
Faced with the intense gazes of the group, Thea guiltily touched her nose.
"Alright, Potter, you go back to the hall first. I have something to say to Miss Granger and Miss Black."
McGonagall gave the order, and Harry obediently went out the door.
Even the most mischievous little lion would behave itself in front of the dean.
Inside the room, Professor McGonagall asked the two young wizards sternly, "Are you sure you want to take all the courses?"
"Yes." x2
Professor McGonagall carefully observed the expressions of the two people before finally handing them the two small boxes from her pocket.
"Severus, Miss Black is in your care."
Snape nodded. "Okay."
