Chapter 292 The Geminis Doing Their Homework Diligently
I raised an eyebrow. "Speak, Draco, what's the matter that you dragged me here in such a hurry?"
Draco took a deep breath, a rare hint of tension appearing on his face.
“I…I know you’ve been getting close to those people lately, like Harry Potter and his friends.” His voice was low, with a hint of barely perceptible jealousy.
A slight smile played on my lips. "What's wrong, Draco? Are you jealous? Or are you here to interrogate me?" I pulled him into my arms.
Draco's face flushed red. "Who's jealous! I just... I just think you shouldn't hang out with them, they'll corrupt you."
I couldn't help but laugh. "Leading someone astray? What constitutes leading someone astray?" I gently stroked Draco's fair cheek. His skin was as smooth as the finest silk, and it felt slightly warm under my fingertips.
Draco turned his face away, trying to avoid my touch, but he didn't break free from my embrace. "People like Gryffindor are reckless and impulsive. Being with them will get you into trouble sooner or later." His voice was firm, but his tone was full of concern.
Looking at his proud yet awkward expression, I felt a surge of joy. I rested my chin on his head and whispered, "But I feel very happy being with them."
Draco snorted. "Ayers, don't forget, the Malfoy family and Gryffindor have never gotten along."
I smiled and shook my head. "Family feuds are their business; I only care about my own feelings. But, you seem to care so much about who I'm with, are you actually jealous?"
Draco's face turned even redder, and he struggled to get out of my arms. "No! Absolutely not! I just don't want to see you make the wrong choice."
I held him tightly, not letting him leave. "Draco, you don't need to be stubborn. I know everything."
His body stiffened for a moment, then he stopped struggling, muttering under his breath, "So what if I do? It doesn't mean I'll admit it."
"Yes, yes, yes~" It's been so long since I've held this platinum young master, I miss him terribly. I reached out and lifted Draco's head, and slowly kissed his lips.
Draco's eyes widened instantly, and the blush on his face quickly spread until his entire neck was flushed.
His body was initially frozen in place, as if petrified, unable to move an inch. His mind went blank, and all his thoughts came to an abrupt halt with the sudden kiss.
Immediately afterwards, his hands, which had been tightly closed, unconsciously clenched the hem of his clothes, his fingertips turning slightly white from the force.
His eyelashes trembled violently like a startled butterfly, yet he hesitated to close his eyes.
In this brief yet long moment, he could clearly feel the warmth of the other's lips and the intertwining of their breaths, all of which made his heart pound wildly in his chest, as if it would burst out of his chest at any moment.
A few seconds later, he seemed to wake up from a dream and realized what had happened. He suddenly put his hands on the other person's chest and tried to push him away.
However, his strength seemed to have been drained away at this moment, making him appear so powerless, and his pushing movements seemed more like a shy struggle.
He turned his face away, avoiding eye contact with me, his eyes filled with panic and helplessness.
"You... how could you do this!" His voice trembled slightly, sharp and urgent, as if he wanted to use anger to cover up the panic in his heart.
But his voice changed due to nervousness, sounding more coquettish.
After a while, he calmed down a bit and secretly glanced at me out of the corner of his eye. When he saw me looking at him with a smile, his face turned red again.
He bit his lip, lowered his head, nervously twisted the hem of his clothes with his hands, and muttered softly, "This...this is nothing. Don't think that just because you're like this I'll...I'll do something."
But his slightly trembling tone betrayed the turmoil in his heart at that moment.
I couldn't help but laugh, and gently lifted Draco's chin, making him look up.
Draco's face flushed red, like a ripe apple, and his eyes darted away, avoiding my gaze.
"Draco, this isn't the first time I've kissed you, why are you still so easily embarrassed?" I teased, my warm breath brushing against Draco's face.
Draco turned his face away and stubbornly said, "Who...who's shy? I'm just...just not used to it."
I smiled and pulled Draco into my arms, whispering in his ear, "You don't need to be stubborn, I can feel your heartbeat, it's beating so fast."
Draco's body stiffened slightly, and his hands unconsciously gripped the hem of my clothes.
After a while, he said in a low voice, "So what? I... I'm just... just a little nervous."
I released Draco, cupped his face in my hands, looked earnestly into his eyes, and said, "Draco, I love you, whether you're shy or stubborn, I love you."
Draco's eyes widened slightly, and his shyness deepened. He stammered, "I...I also..." Before he could finish, I gently kissed his lips.
This time, Draco didn't pull away; instead, he slowly closed his eyes and responded to my kiss.
After the kiss, Draco nestled in my arms, his voice so low it was almost inaudible: "I love you too."
I hugged him tightly and said with a smile, "I know, your shyness has already told me."
Draco's usual haughty and aloof demeanor was now tinged with a barely perceptible blush, like a scarlet flower quietly blooming in the dark night.
He gave a soft hum, his voice carrying a hint of feigned impatience, but he didn't break free from my embrace.
His body was stiff, yet he didn't actually push me away. I could feel his heartbeat, pounding wildly in my arms, a wildness that filled me with sweetness.
After spending a short while with Draco, we began to tidy ourselves up. We both knew that our relationship couldn't be known to too many people on the Hogwarts campus at the moment.
So we agreed that I would stay in the classroom a little longer while Draco went out first.
Watching him straighten his black robe, regain his aloof demeanor, and walk gracefully out of the classroom, I still savored the warmth I had just felt.
Just when I thought it was about time and was about to go out, coincidentally, Fred and George walked towards us.
They were like a pair of lively little elves, exuding a mischievous and clever aura, always wearing a sly smile, as if their heads were full of countless prank ideas.
I sighed and rubbed my head. What a coincidence!
"Hey, look who's here!" Fred teased first, his eyes gleaming with mischief.
George chimed in, "Isn't this our Ayers? What's the rush? Is something good happening?"
I smiled helplessly and said, "Stop beating around the bush, just say what you want to say."
They exchanged a meaningful glance, then started circling around me like two curious little foxes.
“We have a feeling there’s more to this than meets the eye,” George said, deliberately drawing out his words.
"You know perfectly well what I'm asking." I stretched out my hands and grabbed one in each hand.
"Hey~ Ayers, that's cheating, isn't it?" Fred said, pouting.
“Exactly, there’s something we can’t know.” George also started to struggle.
"How about coming to the Room of Requirement to keep me company tonight?" I whispered in their ears.
Upon hearing what I said, the two little foxes immediately stopped struggling and obediently left with me.
"Come on, let's eat first." He pulled Fred and George to the Room of Requirement, prepared dinner, and ate with them.
"Ayers, your cooking is still so delicious." Fred ate very quickly, because Ayers' cooking was just too good.
"Yes, yes, it's so delicious." George, just like Fred, ate very quickly.
"No one's going to take it from you, so don't eat so fast. What if you choke on your food?" I said, eating as I went, while also serving food to the two of them and wiping their mouths with a napkin.
"Ayers, no need to wipe it. You can wipe it after you finish eating." I just wiped Fred's mouth, and now his mouth is full of food again.
"Fred, it's been years, how come you still eat like this?" I said, wiping George's mouth as I looked at Fred with a smile.
"So only you, Ayers, never get tired of wiping our mouths," George said with a smile, having just finished wiping his own mouth.
"What do you think, Fred?" I smiled, wiped Fred's mouth clean, and then lowered my head to stamp it.
“Because of love, isn’t that right, Ayers?” Fred said happily.
"Me too." George saw this and came over with a smile, asking for a kiss.
I treated everyone the same and stamped George's face as well.
In the end, we all finished our dinner while having fun.
After dinner that evening, we all sat in the living room. I sat on the sofa reading a book, while Fred and George did their homework at the desks on either side of the sofa.
"Ayers~ Why do we still have to do homework on our date?" Fred said, shoving his quill pen into the ink and lying on the table with his face turned to the side.
"Fred, shouldn't you check if your ink has dried before you lie down?" I didn't even lift my head as I flipped to the next page of the book.
"Hahaha, Fred, half your face is covered in ink now." George heard us talking, looked up in Fred's direction, and saw this scene.
"Oh no~ my homework, all for nothing." Fred didn't care about the ink on his face, but instead looked at his homework, which was completely black.
"This is a lesson. Let's see if you dare to be so careless with your homework next time." I picked up my wand and used 'Clean Up' in Fred's direction.
"No! All my homework was for nothing." Fred saw that his desk was clean, but all his homework was gone.
"Do you want me to help you?" I put down the book in my hand, stood up and walked to Fred's side.
“Okay, Ayers, how are you going to help me solve this?” Fred said with a grin, looking up at me standing next to him.
"Come on, I'll teach you how to do your homework." I put my magic wand back into my backpack.
Then he placed his right hand over Fred's hand, guiding it towards the quill pen on the table.
Fred held the quill pen in his hand, and I held his hand in mine, my left hand resting on the table. I was writing with my whole body surrounding Fred.
Fred blushed deeply at my movements; it was the first time I had ever written so close to him.
It was all the scent of Ayers; the air I breathed was filled with the fragrance of blue roses.
Fred didn't even know what his hand was writing anymore; he could see Ayers' profile by turning his head slightly.
"Don't stare at me, Fred. You should look at what you've written." I turned to look at Fred beside me and sensed that he was completely out of it.
"Ayers, I'm completely bewitched by you. I don't even know what I'm doing," Fred said, utterly confused.
"Hurry up and do your homework, or I'll punish you tonight," I whispered with a smile in his ear, then released Fred's hand with my right and stroked his waist with my left.
Fred reacted as if he'd been electrocuted by my touch, and his face turned even redder as I whispered in his ear.
"Oops~ Ayers~ My ink spilled." Just as I was whispering with Fred, something happened to George too; it seemed like he spilled ink.
“That was quite an accident, George.” I stopped teasing Fred and straightened up to look at George on the other side.
"What should we do? Ayers, I need your help too." George looked at me with a cunning expression.
"Let me see what's going on here." I knew George was trying to get my attention, so I went along with him and walked to his table.
I walked to his left and stood there looking at the area on his body now stained with ink.
I took out my wand and used a 'Clean Up' spell on him as well.
"Looks like I need to rewrite my homework too." George looked at his clean and tidy desk.
“Then it seems you also need my guidance on your homework.” I put away my wand and put my right hand over George’s back.
I took his hand directly, and rested my left hand on the desk.
“Yes, I really need Ayers’ guidance.” George wasn’t as shy as Fred; he looked at me to his left with a carefree expression.
"Sweetie, look at your homework. Are you not planning to sleep tonight? If you don't finish your homework, you might not be able to spend the night with me." I smiled and looked at George.
"That won't do. I haven't slept with you in ages." This time, George took Xiao Xu seriously and looked at his homework.
I smiled and held his hand, guiding him through the homework questions.
I don't know if it was because we weren't speaking quietly enough, but Fred heard our conversation and stopped slacking off, quickly getting back to his homework.
